Park located on the western shore of Lake Tahoe, an example of what the lake looked like before the arrival of Europeans
Ed Z'berg Sugar Pine Point State Park is located on the western shore of Lake Tahoe, along Highway 89, some fifteen kilometers south of Tahoe City. With three kilometers of unspoiled shoreline, the park is an example of what the lake looked like before the arrival of Europeans: a dense forest of juniper, pine, fir and aspen. The park has 175 campsites. On-site showers, toilets and picnic tables.
