Magnificent fishing lodge built in the 1920 s on the edge of the Twin Lakes. 35 bungalows, freshly renovated for the most, and 11 rooms in the lodge. Each bungalow is equipped with a kitchen and a private bathroom. Breakfast (included in hotel charges) is served in the large dining room. Finally, you will enjoy the Restaurant Lakefront, where Chef Bobby Brown cooks seasonal dishes with fresh seasonal ingredients.

Spent time with friends in the lounge of Tamarack. A beautiful spot quietly nestled at the lakes basin. The lodge is stunning with delicious wines at a peaceful atmosphere

The “ultimate” cabins are amazing.

Overall cute and comfortable place but with really bad signals (T-mobile and AT&T) and horrible WIFI in both the room and the main lodge. If you need internet access this won’t work.

Great place we really enjoyed the cabins and the surrounding are
It wasn't until after I booked that I realized there was a lodge and cabins. We bookef a room at the lodge.... With a shared bathroom. I was weary, especially since the entire lodge (of 8 ish rooms) shared one girl and one guy bathroom. However, even though the lodge was fully booked, I never ran into anyone and the bathroom and shower was very well kept.
Pros: staff is incredible. The beds are very comfortable. Great location and cozy cabin vibe in the rooms. We did a snow hike on the property and Mammoth is super close. Parking was easy and water was hot.
Cons: do not stay in the lodge if you're a couple looking for a romantic getaway. The walls are paper thin (hence the quiet hours and no tvs). The floors are very squeaky and you can expect to get up when everyone else does (around 7/8 am). Food is limited with a Continental bfast and grab and go lunch. Reservations for dinner are needed well in advance.
Overall it was nice, but I think next time I'd prefer one of the cabins over the lodge.
