Nice welcome in this Center, a must stop for hikes of more than one day (except Half Dome). You will find all the information and advice you need. The center issues camping permits and provides all necessary information and instructions. During the high season, permit applications must be made several months in advance. Check the number of permits available on the site, then complete the application following the instructions. Last minute permits are issued the day before the hike, before 11am.
