AGII KONSTANTINOS KAI ELENI CHURCH
This church is unusual in that it is built on a river, the Arkatzin, which bisects Tochni.
This Greek Orthodox church (Ιερός Ναός Αγίων Κωνσταντίνου & Ελένης/Ieros Naos Agion Konstantinou kai Elenis) stands on a bridge spanning the Arkatzin River. If it dates from the 19th century, it would have been erected on the site of a much older church. It is dedicated to Constantine the Great, the first Roman emperor to convert to Christianity and founder of the Byzantine Empire, and to his mother, Helen, who rediscovered the relic of the Holy Cross.
