ABBAYE NOTRE-DAME-DE-CLAVAS
Former Cistercian abbey of women from the 13th century, rich in history, with a beautiful medieval garden at the foot of Mount Felletin.
This former Cistercian women's abbey of the 13th century takes its place away from the world, at the foot of Mount Felletin. All that remains of the monument is the chapel, whose Gothic choir dates from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, as well as an 18th century doorway. One also notes the presence of trompe-l'oeil paintings, which were recently discovered. A stroll in this special place seduces for its history, its exceptional location in the heart of a green and hilly nature, as well as for the presence of a small and charming medieval garden.
