This beach, 3 km from the center, is undoubtedly the most beautiful and busiest in Agia Napa.

Nissi is undoubtedly the most beautiful and busiest beach in Agia Napa. Located 3 km from the center of town, it stretches for 900 m and boasts crystal-clear water and fine white sand. It has lifeguard surveillance and the Blue Flag eco-label. Easily accessible, Nissi has numerous restaurants and cafés in the immediate vicinity. As it is well protected from the afternoon winds in summer, the waves remain fairly calm. A 4 km coastal footpath leads to the beaches of Makronissos and Vathia Gonia.

West of Nissi beach

Latchi beach. Located just off Nissi beach and 3 km from the town center, Latchi is a small sandy beach. It is protected from the waves by concrete blocks set into the sea. There are bars and restaurants.

Landa. 1.5 km west of Nissi and 1 km east of Makronissos, Landa (also known as Paradise Beach) is a beautiful little white-sand beach, with a Blue Flag eco-label, bars and restaurants. Protected on both sides by rocks, it's not too prone to south winds or waves.

Makronissos. 2.5 km from Nissi beach and 5 km from the town center, Makronissos probably owes its name ("big island" in Greek) to the peninsula that divides it in two, and is home to a cemetery dating back to antiquity. The island is made up of three quiet, family-friendly beaches that have been awarded the Blue Flag eco-label. Sheltered from the wind, you can swim here without fear of the waves. There are bars and restaurants, as well as water sports equipment rentals and diving courses. To the west, the coastal path leads to the pretty fishing port of Potamos tou Liopetriou (6 km), via the beach of Agia Thekla.

Agia Thekla. This is the furthest public beach from the town center (6 km), but it has everything you need. Well protected from the wind and with the Blue Flag, it is very popular with families with young children, as well as with divers. It owes its name to the church located in an area which, up until ten years ago, was deserted and is now full of villas..

East of Nissi beach

Vathia Gonia (Sandy Beach). Well protected by its shape (its name means "deep angle" in Greek), Vathia Gonia lies some 800 m east of Nissi beach. White sand (with a few large rocks), blue water in the morning and Blue Flag eco-label. Wheelchair access is available. Vathia Gonia isn't too crowded, and because it's so wide, there's plenty of room to spread your towel. It's also a good spot for diving. The coastal path leads to the port (2.5 km to the east) and to Makronissos beach (4 km to the west), with some lovely little sandy beaches along the way.

Pernera. Located 200 m east of Vathia Gonia beach, Pernera is literally surrounded by hotels, restaurants and cafés. Fine sand, clear water and Blue Flag again. Often windy in summer afternoons, the beach is protected from the waves by large boulders serving as breakwaters. Makronissos beach is 4 km to the west along the coastal path.

Katsarka. This 800 m-long stretch of rock lies just beyond Pernera beach. Also known as Katsarga, it has been awarded the Blue Flag eco-label. Between the rocks, you'll find a few pretty strips of sand. Waves can be quite strong in the afternoon.

Loukos tou Manti. This tiny beach is located next to the port. Made of sand and rocks, it is close to bars and restaurants. Awarded the Blue Flag eco-label.

Pantahou. Stretching over 1 km between the port and Glyki Nero beach, Pantahou is Agia Napa's longest beach. Also known as Limanaki paralia (the beach of the little port), it has been awarded the Blue Flag eco-label. Wide and well-situated, it welcomes thousands of tourists without feeling too cramped. Here too, the sand is white and the water clear. In summer, southerly winds blow quite strongly in the afternoon, with medium-sized waves. Diving courses allow you to explore the nearby underwater caves. From Pantahou, the coastal path leads to the beach of Vathia Gonia (2.5 km) and the underwater caves of Cape Greko (4.5 km), passing through slightly less developed areas.

Glyki Nero (Grecian Beach). Nestled in a small bay, it is located right next to the underwater caves of Agia Napa (diving course). Its Greek name means "fresh water" or "drinking water" (which of course it isn't, even though it has been awarded the Blue Flag). Windy and subject to waves in the afternoon, it is very busy and overlooked by the Grecian Hotel, which is why it is often renamed by this name. White sand, crystal-clear water, changing cabins, etc.

Kambouri. Also known as Ammos tou Kambouri ("the sand of Kambouri"), it's tiny and pretty as can be. Located 2 km from Kermia Beach, it is slightly windy and subject to afternoon waves. It benefits from the Blue Flag.

Kermia. 3 km east of Nissi, in an area still relatively untouched by concrete, it owes its name to the hotel complex overlooking it. But like all beaches, access is free. It has been awarded the Blue Flag eco-label and is subject to light winds and waves in the afternoon. Water sports activities are available. A few fishing boats are moored here.
