BLANLHAC MILLS
In the north of Rosières, towards Chamalieres-sur-Loire, the village of Blanlhac retains eight water mills in its territory. During the aftermath of the Second World War, all worked. Today, some are in very bad shape. What a pretty battle that was made by the Friends of the Mills of Blanlhac, who undertook to renovate one of them! The result is exceptional: today the mill once again produces flour. The property of the association is in free access, it is a beautiful natural site preserved. After the renovation of the Paul Garnier mill, it is now the turn of the "Petit Moulin". The association has therefore resumed the fight and intends to save another mill! A very interesting visit to the whole family. You will understand the hydraulic system of bays and very special locks at these eight mills, and inside you will see it work and produce flour.
