Former line of railway linking Lavoûte-sur-Loire in Lavoulte-sur-Rhône, "La Galoche" was built between 1886 and 1890. It was condemned in the 1950 s, a few years after the terrible accident which cost the lives of ten people (two cars of a convoy déraillèrent). Today, this disused winding lane offers a very beautiful walk from Rosières. It passes near the Ravin ravine, follows the Swiss Gorge, passes at the foot of the chapel of Glavenas and continues to Yssingeaux. Explanatory panels on the history of this track are all along the course. The Galoche Road will also delight all mountain biking fans who can ride over 22 km in nature.
