MOUSIKOS

This restaurant (Μουσικός) is renowned throughout the region, and you need to book well in advance to find a table here in summer. All the classics of Cypriot cuisine are served on the beautiful terrace, under the vaults or in the pleasant dining room: kleftiko, sheftalia, souvla lamb, goat or pork , homemade halloumi, snails..., not forgetting the great village specialty, kolokasi (taro root), locally known as poulles/πούλλες. And it's not too expensive, since you can try it all by opting for the copious €22 mezze menu.
