MUSÉE D'ART POPULAIRE DE LIMASSOL

This municipal museum founded in 1985 (Δημοτικό Λαογραφικό Μουσείο/Dimotiko Laografiko Mousio, Municipal Museum of Folk Art) isn't necessarily worth a visit. The 500 ^nineteenth- and ^{twentieth-century} objects from the region on display here are poorly presented, more often than not with no explanation as to their provenance, period or use. While awaiting modernization, the six small rooms nevertheless house some fine traditional garments and jewelry.
