MUSÉE DE L'EAU
Interesting museum, founded in 2013, showing how local people have used water throughout history.
This museum (Μουσείο Νερού/Mousio Nerou, Water Museum) is housed in a former 1925 pumping station. Rather interestingly, it was founded in 2013 by the Limassol Water Organization with the aim of encouraging residents and tourists to reduce their water consumption, particularly in view of the island's drying soils. Videos, maps, archaeological objects and machines from different periods explain the ways in which local people have used water throughout history.
