This square (Πλατεία Σαριπόλου/Platia Saripolou) has long been the center of local nightlife. Very pleasant with its beautiful low houses, trees and shady tavern terraces, it is quieter during the day and invites to laze around. It is named after the Athenian jurist and founder of Greek public law, Nikolaos Saripolos (1817-1897), whose mother was from Limassol. To the north, the square adjoins the municipal market and Chatziloïzi-Michailidi street, which is also very lively on festival nights, as well as Kanari street (north of the market).
