A slightly old-fashioned hotel (wifi but no air-conditioning), but charming with its flower-filled courtyard. It's also a pleasant restaurant.
"L'auberge de la grappe de raisin" has slightly old-fashioned rooms (but with wifi) in a pretty building with balconies overlooking a shady, flower-filled courtyard. Despite several minor shortcomings (fans but no air-conditioning, for example), it's not very expensive, well located in the center of Pissouri, and has much more charm than the nearby resorts. It also boasts a good restaurant with a pleasant terrace and fine international cuisine. Not cheap but hearty breakfast. Free parking.

Hier rühmt man sich, den schönsten Garten zu haben.
Mag sein.
Bislang kehrten wir immer am Square ein, wo es aber gemütlich und familiär in netter Atmosphäre zugeht.
Zutreffend berichten die hiesigen Bewertungen von durchaus gutem Essen.
Stimmt.
Etwas anders als die üblichen Tavernen.
Artischocken in cremiger Sauce und Halloumi in Sesam:Lecker.
Auch die Lammleber gut.
Lamm Chops reichlich.
Apple pie lecker.
Warum nur drei Sterne?
Nun, ich wollte telefonisch für neunzehn Uhr reservieren und wurde gebeten, eine halbe Stunde früher zu erscheinen.
Kein Problem.
Wir bekamen den "Katzentisch" am Eingang zugewiesen, der noch nicht einmal eingedeckt war.
OK, kein Problem.
Aber als dann mindestens 3 - 4 Paare OHNE Reservierung erschienen und deutlich bessere Plätze zugewiesen bekamen, wurden wir ein bisschen stutzig.
Wir wurden dann innerhalb einer Stunde abgefertigt, Vorspeise, Hauptgang, Dessert, Kaffee.
Die Freundlichkeit wirkte einstudiert, ganz anders, als wir es bislang kennen - und schätzen gelernt haben.
Deshalb: trotz leckerem Essen:

The location in Pissouri village is stunning, both with the views aswell as the quaintness of the village itself.
The service is superb, the staff are extremely friendly and they cannot do enough for you. Professionalism & humour is intertwined in the service.
The food - the menu provides so many options, the taste of the food is incredible, I am a pescatarian and there are several options for myself along with a number of options if you enjoy eating meat.
Visit Pissouri, ensure you reserve a table and you will honestly enjoy this place as much as we, and others have done.
