AGRIDIA VILLAGE
Home to two small museums (often closed) and a recently opened astronomical observatory.
Situated on a hill 1,100 m above sea level, Agridia/Αγριδια is home to two small museums with quite random schedules: an ecclesiastical museum (Εκκλησιαστικό Μουσείο/Ekklesiastiko Mousio), including a 16th-century icon and iconostasis, and an olive mill (Ελιόμυλος/Eliomylos) on traditional pressing techniques. Otherwise, this small village of less than 100 inhabitants offers beautiful views and has been home to Cyprus's main observatory since 2024. Equipped with two large telescopes, it is set to welcome visitors.
