KALOPANAGIOTIS VENETIAN BRIDGE
stone bridge leading to the Agios Ioannis Lampadistis monastery. Hiking trails nearby.
This small 16th-century stone bridge (Ενετικό Γεφύρι/Enetiko Gefiri, Venetian bridge) spans the Setrachos River in a pretty natural setting. Located near the arrival of the cogwheel elevator, it provides access to the Agios Ioannis Lampadistis monastery. Nearby are springs, the ruins of a mill, a footbridge and footpaths. You can climb the hill above, or head for the village of Oikos, 1 km to the north, famous for its walnuts.
