ASSOCIATION D’AFFAIRES FRANCO-CHYPRIOTE

Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus, offers a wealth of resources for entrepreneurs and international trade professionals. The Association d'Affaires Franco-Chypriote, created in 2002, brings together French managers of Cypriot and French companies. Every year, it organizes events to promote trade between the two countries, such as seminars and French pavilions at Cypriot trade shows. The association also publishes a directory of its members, making it a useful contact for those interested in Cyprus, whether SMEs or multinationals. Other organizations are also present in Nicosia to support entrepreneurs. The Economic Service of the French Embassy in Cyprus, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, the Foreign Investors Service Centre, the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Cyprus Promotion Investment Agency all offer information and services to facilitate doing business in Cyprus. For company registration formalities, the One Stop Shop is the competent body. Finally, the Commercial Office of the Cyprus Embassy in France is also available to provide information and advice to French companies interested in the Cypriot market.
