The Iplik Pazarı mosque (Iplik Pazarı Camii) bears the memory of the old "cotton market" today and is named after Iplik Pazarı. Built in the eighteenth century, it preserves the minaret of a mosque from the end of the sixteenth century. It ends with a conical stone summit, a unique model in Cyprus. The mosque was renovated twice in the nineteenth century. Inside, the wooden ceiling is supported by two arches and the room is illuminated by arched windows. A wooden mezzanine is reserved for women.
