FAZIL KÜÇÜK MUSEUM
In the house (1920) of physician Fazıl Küçük (1906-1984), who was Vice-President of the Republic of Cyprus (1960-1973).
This museum (Dr. Fazıl Küçük Müzesi) occupies a 1920 neo-colonial house that once belonged to Dr. Fazıl Küçük (1906-1984), leader of the Turkish Cypriot community and Vice-President of the Republic of Cyprus (1960-1973). First floor: Küçük's GP practice and the Triumph motorcycle of the policeman who escorted him on his official duties. Upstairs: apartment of the Küçük family, who lived here from 1946 to 1960, before moving to the presidential palace in the Quirini bastion. Note the photo of Küçük with actress Raquel Welch (1970).
