This institution (Arabahmet Kültür ve Sanat Evi) is part of the Girne American University, a North Cypriot university based in Kyrenia/Girne. It is housed in a medieval house dating from the Frankish period. Here you'll find a Toy Museum (a single room with pieces from the 19th and 20th centuries, such as an 1889 Epinal picture of a pre-cut "Turkish mosque" to be assembled), a temporary exhibition room, a café and a theater dating from the British period.
