Museum of contemporary art in a former power station hosting temporary exhibitions by artists from all over the world.

The NiMAC (Nicosia Municipal Arts Centre) is the largest museum of contemporary art in Cyprus. Created in 1994 by the town council and the Pierides Foundation, it is housed in a former power station and hosts temporary exhibitions by artists from all over the world. On the street, note the Υπέρβαση ("Excesses") installation created in 2015 by Constantinos Kalisperas (b. 1973): a suspended container under which are inscribed the numbers of UN resolutions concerning Cyprus.

J'ai essayé d'y aller 2 fois et les deux fois il était fermé pendant les heures d’ouvertures donné par le petit futé (corroboré par google). Autant la première fois c'était en janvier (hors saison touristique en fin de journée). Autant la seconde était en Mai (belle saison) en milieu d'après midi... Donc très dessus.
Le quartier ou il est implanté est dessert voir un peu glauque (mini quartier rouge?)
