THE HALL
It was in 1873 that the construction project of the Halle de Saint-Didier was born. A former grain hall built in 1880, it then served as a covered market. On the floor one room served at public meetings and was converted into a weaving school. From 1975 to 2010, the first floor of the Halle housed the Musée des Arts et Traditions du Massif Central and a surprising collection of objects most representative of the rural environment and of our region. This floor is now closed to the public pending work to give it to the standards.
