Built in 1915, this large house was refurbished by an Italian-Cypriot couple. Opened since 2013, it now has four beautiful, spacious and bright bedrooms with exposed beams, real wood flooring and bathroom (wifi only in common areas). One of them can accommodate four people. For their guests, Sara and Tassos organize activities in the region (hiking, cycling, horse riding, kayaking) and offer authentic breakfasts, but also dinners on request, based on organic products.

We throughly enjoyed getting stuck in making and shaping the halloumi with Maroulla, whose knowledge and expertise on the history and culture of halloumi making is second to none. Tassos also took us on a fascinating in depth tour of the village whilst Sara explained all things organic and fed us with delicious homemade jams, breads and a bergamot squash to die for. We obviously got to try the halloumi too! ????????
As well as their beautiful building, the hospitality and warmth made it truly special day and a fantastic day out for us all, especially as it was just 20 minutes from Nicosia. Definitely recommend this halloumi workshop at a genuine Agrotourist bed and breakfast - go now!
