BOUCHERIE PORFYRIOS
The region is renowned for the quality of its kleftiko, lamb or goat meat in a traditional oven oven. The most famous place for this is a butchers family, the Porfyrios: the meat is cooked for twelve hours in the string, suspended in the oven with guar leaves and served with potatoes covered with foil laid on the home bricks. Tomatoes, cucumbers, bread, capers and yoghurt are offered in addition. Originally, the butchery offered the kleftiko to take only once a week to its customers. In the face of success, the Porfyrios family created a small restaurant open two nights a week that has been growing since the 2000 s. In spite of the total lack of luxury and a capacity now increased to 130, it is better to reserve.
