Part of the Byzantine ramparts. Today it houses The Round Tower souvenir store.
This 7th-century round tower is called "medieval tower" in Greek (Μεσαιωνικός Πύργος/Meseonikοs Pyrgos) and "Lusignan tower" in Turkish (Lüzinyan Kulesi). Now occupied by The Round Tower souvenir store, it is one of the few remains of Kyrenia's fortifications built by the Byzantines to counter Arab raids. Later reinforced by the Franks and Venetians, it was abandoned during the Ottoman period and restored in the late 1980s.
