Military museum around a landing ship of the same type used by the Turkish army during the 1974 invasion.
Opened in 2020, this military museum (Ç 1974 Gemi Müze) is designed around a landing craft of the same type used by the Turkish army during the July 20, 1974 invasion. Built in 1978 and named after the year of the landing, this 57 m-long, 300-tonne barge is based on the French Edic (Engin de débarquement d'infanterie et de chars) class. Nearby, the Monument for Peace and Freedom is within walking distance.
