TRIKOMO ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM/İSKELE
Terracotta figurines, Phoenician glass jewels and vials, statues... Well presented but lacking in explanations.
Founded in 2018, this museum (İskele Arkeoloji Müzesi) houses objects from the Neolithic to the Middle Ages from the Apostolos Varnavas monastery (Salamis, Cyprus). Housed in the former municipal market, it is well presented but lacks explanations. The collection is rich, with terracotta figurines from the 8th century BC, Phoenician jewelry and glass vials, statues from the Roman period and numerous amphorae.
