ESPLORA INTERACTIVE SCIENCE CENTRE
Located in the former Bighi Palace, this centre opened its doors to the public in October 2016, with the aim of becoming one of the country's leading interactive science centres and a major tourist attraction. This operation will have required three years of work and a budget of around €26 million, including €14.5 million from the ERDF. On two floors and through more than 200 interactive exhibitions, visitors can discover the world of science through practical or recreational activities (theatre, art, music), to understand, for example, the planet Earth, the human body or electricity. With demonstrations, practical workshops or shows.
