Theatre performances, concerts, guided tours of monuments and historical re-enactments bring the town of Birgu to life.
In one of Malta's most storied cities, every year in October every inhabitant adorns the streets with thousands of candles and chandeliers. The program includes theatrical performances, concerts, guided tours of numerous monuments (such as Fort St. Angelo) and historical re-enactments with costumed men. It's also a great opportunity to sample local culinary specialities. Every year, the festival grows in size and takes place over the whole weekend.

dans le port se côtoient presque bateaux de pêches et superbes yachts
plusieurs petits restos sympas et vraiment pas cher compte tenu du quartier
jolie balade à pieds sur 1 journée Fort st Ange non visitable quand nous y sommes allés J'ai adoré le musée maritime (pas très cher comparé à d'autres musées de Malte moins pittoresques)
