Excelente , me sentí muy bien , afortunadamente fui una temporada dónde los precios son muy económicos , la vibra muy linda y el recepcionista colombiano te apoya mucho harvie muy querido ❤️???? viaje sola y hice amigos ????????????????????????????????????????

It was okay - owners are lovely and same with the rooftop but it only opens at 9am so you have to keep this in mind if you have to leave early - rooms are quite dark with only a few bathrooms for the amount of guest ! Location is okay also

Nice rooftop, supplied kitchen

It's near the busy area of the island, lots of parties in the area by walking distance. public transport is not too far away. All the main bus lines are near the hostel to take you to the rest of the island. Normal bus lines cost 2 euro for 2 hours, TD cost 3 euro for 1 trip.

The vibe is just to sleep and travel all day. Not a hostel to really make connections with other people and chill. They have a rooftop that closes at 11pm. It is a nice area to wind down from a long day and read a book.

Cleanliness is okay. Toilets and showers are always clean, room floors aren't cleaned enough to my opinion because my feet are black after walking around a bit.
They have air conditioning which is really nice.

Overall it's a cheap and good stay

Personnel très professionnel et serviable, c'est la seule note positive.
Cependant en ce qui concerne l'auberge Malti c'est vraiment très mauvais : on est à l'étroit comparé à d'autres auberges de jeunesse, bâtiment assez ancien, la propreté des matelas et oreillers sous les draps et et la qualité des sanitaires est vraiment bas de gamme.
De plus, l'emplacement est en haut d'une montée, pas très pratique quand on est chargé.
Si vous cherchez la propreté fuyez et allez ailleurs.

Hostel Malti is a very good hostel and has the best staff. Neil and Harvei were always very helpful and kind. I will definitely stay there again when i go to malta again :).

Hostel Malti nel complesso buono se non si trova un alloggio più vicino a Paceville. Le camere non sono il massimo, nè in termini di pulizia, nè come qualità (basti pensare al letto che presentava lenzuola, copricuscini ecc ecc tutti con temi differenti). La sua posizione dista circa 15/20 min da Paceville e dalla sua movida. Lo consiglierei se non ci sono ulteriori alternative, ma è preferibile prendere un alloggio più vicino a Paceville e sicuramente se ci si tiene particolarmente alla pulizia conviene preferire un hotel. (Io avevo una camera doppia con bagno privato). Personale molto gentile.

J'ai 47 ans, je voulais tester une auberge de jeunesse !
Je mets 5 étoiles parce que finalement pour le prix (25€/nuit), que demander de plus !?
Un dortoir de 6 lits simples superposés, une odeur nauséabonde, des bruits de ronflements incessants, une hygiène douteuse pour un amateur de beaux hôtels, une bâtisse vieille comme le monde,un digicode où on se colle les doigts, un escalier en bois pour monter sur le lit qui paraît haut comme la tour Eiffel, une fois tout là-haut on a la tête quasi collée au plafond.
J'avoue que lorsque le monsieur très sympathique de l'accueil m'a montré la chambre, j'ai voulu fuir les lieux comme la peste mais le challenge était trop top à relever finalement.
Aucuns regrets et vive Hostel Malti !!!

Nice place

we had a great time staying at malti. Chris the owner is super cool and has amazing tips on what to do. Kashif (usually working at marco polo) and the guy taking care of the hostel are just the best to be around and really make sure you have a good stay. Good to meet people too, would definitely come back
PS: didnt use the jacuzzi but the rooftop is amazing

Six bed was dank, smelly and cluttered...but when I moved to the 8 bed it was better.
Maybe alot of long term guests there so the dynamic socially can be strange or good.
Kitchen is sad, I'll equipped and not clean. This is a big let down.
In general cleaning could be better.
Maintenance is just as bad, or worse than Marco Polo (same owners).... They need to put more care into their hostels, as they have potential to be so much better with a little effort.
The staff are nice though.

Beautiful place

I stayed in the private rooms which are next door from the hostel. The room was great, spacious with everything you really need. The shower had good water pressure. There's also a shared fridge in the common area. Location is good, just keep in mind it's a bit of a walk up the hill. So when you're on the rooftop there's a great view. I didn't have a chance to use the jacuzzi.

Very cool spot. We stayed in a private room & were kinda on our own little mission so we didn't spend to much time at the hostel, but what little we checked out was bang on. Chilled vibes, friendly staff, decent communual kitchen. Close enough that everything is a short walk away, but far enough away from everything so it's quiet. The private room also got cleaned everyday which is a great little perk expesially for a hostel.

Hostel con buena ubicación (cerca de algunas playas públicas, también a pocos minutos a pie de sitios donde salir a comer, dar una caminata por la orilla de la isla, unas iglesias, discotecas, etc), en un sector tranquilo (dentro del mismo hostel no hay bullicio, como probablemente haya en otros) y con excelente personal; tanto Harvei en la recepción, como Neil como encargado de la limpieza son muy amables y dan a todo mundo importantes informaciones para una estadía ideal.

Excellent hostel very clean an sociable. At this price, do not exect luxury, but the people staying there and the staff especially Harvey, are wonderful and are great guides around th island.

Malgré des problèmes dus à l’éloignement du centre ville et en plus en côte (contrairement à Inhawi Hostel ou de nombreuses autres auberges situées dans rues très passantes et des endroits très fréquentés) donc vivants de jour comme de nuit et au fait qu’il n’y ait donc pas d’activité autour, ni de magasins ouverts le soir pour faire ses achats, le lieu n’est pas cher mais ne mérite pas 4,2/5 vous seriez déçu si vous venez en pensant cela comme d'autres personnes croisées sur place. Le lieu est donc très très très simple même si nous sommes 14 par chambres, sans intimité ni espace personnel, sans possibilité d'y voir car il n'y a pas de lumière à chaque lit donc seulement la lumière commune (on rev elle tout le monde ou on est dans le noir), avec une toute petite fenêtre, des douches miniatures (avec moisissures), par très hygiéniques, des portes qui se ferment mal et dont on voit à travers (WC et douches), beaucoup de bruit dès 8 heures le matin (pour un quartier résidentiel) à cause des travaux au marteau piqueur de l'immeuble à côté depuis plusieurs jours et pour plusieurs semaines d'après les travailleurs, l'accueil est ouvert de façon restreinte de 9h à 12h et de 20h à 23h, ce qui n'est pas top quand vous arrivez pour votre check in entre ces horaires...mais le personnel essaye de faire de son mieux pour nous faire passer un agréable séjour !!! Ils méritent des éloges car ils travaillent dans des conditions pas très attrayantes... D'autre part, lorsqu'on donne un avis, c'est ce que l'on voit personnellement et ce que l'on ressent donc il est inutile de répondre pour vous donner raison car ce n'est pas vous qui prenez la chambre mais le client et il a le droit d'être en total désaccord avec vous : Ruth ou quel que soit votre vrai prénom ! Merci donc sinon je peux mettre beaucoup de photos qui étayent mes dires... J'ai été respectueux car je n'en ai mis que 2 mais je pense que vous devriez faire des efforts et acheter un minimum de matériel déjà cela serait mieux que de perdre du temps à répondre la même chose à tous les clients déçus... Merci et belle journée...

Se scegliete una vacanza in ostello, sapete perfettamente non di dovervi aspettare i comfort di un albergo, dovete avere spirito d’adattamento, qualsiasi età voi abbiate. Io, da adulta quarantacinquenne ho viaggiato da sola, ho soggiornato al Malti per 4 notti e mi sono sentita come a casa. Un ambiente amichevole, il proprietario gentilissimo e disponibile, atmosfera magica e rilassante, la jacuzzi in terrazza… top! Unico neo.. i materassi! Grazie per aver reso speciale la mia vacanza in Malta ❤️
