The rooftop bar and pool area were great, infinity pool with great views, plenty of sun loungers, towels available from reception to take up and the bar making fresh cocktails and snacks.
It is possible to enter the sea from almost directly in front of the hotel, using an easily accessed slipway. We saw many swimmers enter from that area. The promenade is flat and well maintained, and it's easy to follow along the coast to a variety of bars and cafes.
Breakfast was good, with slight variation of hot food on offer across our stay, so not every meal was exactly the same. The days with waffles and pancakes were our favourites. Plenty of coffee and juice machines spread around the breakfast room. We did not try the dinner buffet during our stay.
The area was busy and bustling. At the weekend it was a little noisy on the balcony but the doors shut out noise from the street and bars. Lots of ice cream stands nearby, but our favourite was the one under the hotel.
Plenty of busses passing and nearby car hire places to use to explore the island, but we mostly made use of the Bolt taxis, which were inexpensive and never took long to arrive.
The only things we could say weren't great were the very worn towels in the rooms bathroom (old, small, off white, frayed - the ones for use by the pool were noticeably bigger, newer and in better condition) and very low quality toilet paper. Everything else was so good, these small things really stood out as poor by comparison - however they were so small they certainly wouldn't put us off returning to the hotel in future.
