This oak and pine forest was planted on the initiative of Grand Master Lascaris in the 17th century. It is the only one of its kind in Malta. This hunting enthusiast introduced wild boar from France. Today, groves of orange, olive, cypress and ash trees and even vines have replaced the wild boars. Here, you can picnic and stroll along cobbled, ivy-lined paths or through undergrowth.
