Located to the south of Birzebugga, the cave is carved out of the cliff face, revealing an "azure window" such as you might see in other parts of the island. It owes its name to a Saracen warrior who made it his headquarters, even going so far as to install a harem there, in order to indulge in a slave trade from this ideal base. Other, more romantic legends surround the cave with an aura of mystery. In the end, there's not much to see, but the view of the sea is lovely. You may be offered a torch, more or less free of charge. Not really useful in the middle of the afternoon...
