LES TROIS CROIX
If you go to the Il-Madonna Tad-Pawl chapel, which is a little lost in the north of the village, you can see three crosses lined up along a wall since the 17th century. It is not clear why they are there. Let's just say that there are various versions. Do they commemorate the execution of three monks by the Turks? Are they the shrine of a poor man from Zejtun who died of the plague? Or do they bear witness to the three burials of an old man who was thought to have died twice wrongly? Perhaps you can solve the mystery.
