OLD STATION
The line called Xmundifer (pronounce «chmoundifère») connected, to the heroic time of the Maltese railway, La Valetta in Mdina and served the stations of Hamrun, Birkirkara and Attard. In the absence of clients, the exploitation ceased in the 1930 s, but still referred to by a miniature train carved in stone, as well as by the war memorial. Besides the flower beds, the aviaries, the beautiful basin, the garden garden and the playground for children, the major attraction of the garden is the third-class car that you can see, parked on the dock.
