Located at the corner of Villaignon Street and Mesquita Street, this residence was the seat of a noble family, the Testaferrata. Historians believe that this casa Testaferrata was built on the site of an ancient Roman temple dedicated to Apollo. This establishment is private and cannot be visited. Opposite is the 17th century Casa Viani, next to which is the house with the balcony from which a French commander was thrown, an incident which marked the beginning of the Maltese uprising against the French occupation.
