KEMPINSKI SAN LAWRENZ RESORT & SPA * * * * *
This magnificent hotel, built in an old farmhouse by a majestic hall with wooden ceilings and the inner balconies of wrought iron, is penetrated into this magnificent hotel. The 122 rooms are organized harmoniously around a beautiful and large swimming pool with a small island with three palm trees. The frame is nice, and it is not far from Dwejra Point rocks. The rooms and suites (ask for one with view on the pool) offer the comfort expected for the hotel's standing: air conditioning, satellite TV, minibar, coffee maker, room service 24/24. A sofa bed allows to accommodate up to four people, the rates are then degressive. The furniture is elegant and well chosen. The San Lawrenz also houses one of the island's most famous spa (see below), with two indoor pools, one of which is completely renovated this year, hammam and Turkish bath. There are two restaurants with sunny terrace, tennis and squash courts, gym, yoga classes and a children's playroom. For those who have forgotten the sea, a minibus leads you to the nearby rocky beaches, where a diving club is also located.

- The sound insulation was far from good. I can hear the voice from the other room.
- The room overall was old
+ The room was quite clean
+ The bathroom was elegant and comfortable. Also there was bathtub.
- The overhead shower waterflow is too slow.
+ The bed was comfortable.
- The room was a little bit cold at night, the air conditioner was turned off by itself after 15 minutes.
Well, 5 stars for the room.
Service:
"Almost" everyone was very helpful and friendly. On the very last day, we were asked by a reception for feedback, we said that the room was a little bit cold, but unfortunately she defended herself instead of receiving the feedback, saying that probably the window was open, which of course would be even colder.
During the breakfast on 28.12, it was overcrowded that we needed the stand in line to get a table for breakfast, which was of course uncomfortable, considering we had a baby with us.
Location:
Actually a little bit far from the city, but i can understand, that it won't be possible to build such a big hotel in the city.
But i must say, there won't be a better place to stay in Gozo than the Kempinski. I just expect more from hotel brand "Kempinski".
