IL-KCINA TAL’ BARRAKKA (SAMMY’S)
The Maltese appreciate this small tourist table and dépaysante from the dock. Very typical, nice service. There is also a terrace on the terrace, because there is no room. We are at two steps away from the boats. Prices may appear high, but are related to the rich main dishes and the success of the place.
The menu changes regularly. It depends on the catch of the day, the season vegetables, the morning races, the inspiration of the cooks you see. Try the fish soup and the fishery products of the day that you will be asked to choose on a tray, using wise suggestions from the boss. The fish are fresh and well prepared (cooked to choose) and accompanied by excellent seasonal vegetables, which allow with a dish to make a full and rich meal, because it will be necessary to count on the pleasant small sides (garlic bread, smell salad…). Carnivores will try in duck, beef fillet in sauce and local specialities (bragioli). The wine list is well provided.
