IS-SUQ TAL BELT
Multiple tasting areas and beautiful terraces accessible even in the evening, this is what Valletta may have been lacking and which has just been filled with the inauguration in early 2018 of its new food market. Located in the former premises of what was commonly known as the covered market or the Valletta market, a Victorian-style building dating from the mid-19th century and completely renovated for the occasion. On the ground floor, the place now has eleven tasting points, on site or to take away, more targeted word food. You will find sushi, Sicilian, Spanish products, fresh pasta and Asian cuisine. While it is regrettable that Maltese cuisine is only present in one place, the products are nevertheless of high quality and freshness, with the pleasure of tasting them on one of the two large terraces that harmoniously complete the whole to accompany them with a drink, around the central bar or on the floor. Not to mention that with a gigantic screen running over almost the entire entrance, the venue has become a must for football match broadcasts. It was an opportunity for this suq to refuel on the English community's side.
