Set in a Victorian house from the 1830s, this trendy boutique hotel located near the Manoel Theatre will seduce lovers of old stone and an arty and intimate atmosphere, each room overlooking an inner courtyard where you can't hear a cat. The Ellul brothers entrusted its transformation to architect Chris Briffa, who designed each of the nine suites in elegant black white and anthracite tones. On the floor, graphic mosaics, on the walls, an exhibition of paintings by the contemporary Maltese artist Mallia, which makes us rediscover Valletta in flashy tones. Some have high ceilings, characterful furniture and luxurious bathrooms with pretty basins and superb free-standing baths. The rooms on the top floor are more futuristic, with raw concrete walls and contemporary furniture with sleek lines, each with a terrace overlooking the city.
