CASA ELLUL
Set in a Victorian house from the 1830s, this trendy boutique hotel located near the Manoel Theatre will seduce lovers of old stone and an arty and intimate atmosphere, each room overlooking an inner courtyard where you can't hear a cat. The Ellul brothers entrusted its transformation to architect Chris Briffa, who designed each of the nine suites in elegant black white and anthracite tones. On the floor, graphic mosaics, on the walls, an exhibition of paintings by the contemporary Maltese artist Mallia, which makes us rediscover Valletta in flashy tones. Some have high ceilings, characterful furniture and luxurious bathrooms with pretty basins and superb free-standing baths. The rooms on the top floor are more futuristic, with raw concrete walls and contemporary furniture with sleek lines, each with a terrace overlooking the city. A warm welcome from the team, attentive to the requirements of its customers. A very popular establishment.
Smart advice: do not hesitate to check the availability of rooms day by day and book your stay in several suites. The staff will take care of everything to make you travel between floors without you noticing!

Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and had great views of the Cathedral. There was a minibar and tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Little petit fours were left every night on our bedside cabinet.
Breakfasts were huge with all options covered. The croissant, pain au chocolates and sour dough bread were fresh and tasty. Eggs cooked to perfection. The staff again attentive and serving up perfect meals.
A quaint hotel with attention to customer service and details in be room
