Formerly a fortified defensive structure, today it is a multi-purpose cultural centre housing Spazju Kreativ, a public cultural organisation. There is a 152-seat round theatre, located in a former cylindrical water reservoir, a 105-seat cinema built into the vaults and a 100-seat recital hall. And an extensive programme: superb exhibitions, concerts, theatre and cinema (recent films, retrospectives, art and essay, thematic festivals).
