UNDERGROUND VALLETTA (LES SOUTERRAINS)

Storing grain, moving troops, purifying water: there was no lack of reasons for the city to dig underground spaces. An obligation reinforced by the need to create a dense network of shelters during the Second World War. A 45-minute guided tour (in English), limited to a group of 10 people, gives you an overview. A short briefing is given beforehand and protective gear is provided. Imperative: closed and comfortable shoes.
