The OLDEST Moroccan RESTAURANT of Madrid, the decor of the Thousand and One Nights
A romantic atmosphere and an atmosphere that will transport you beyond the place = dreams do not stop at the surroundings, the content of your plate.
Pigeon pastilla is simply divine, there is no other words DIVINE.
Couscous with lamb is a celebrity of Moroccan cuisine, no place in the world (in my humble opinion and according to my different experiences) will bring such a moment of Oriental culinary pleasure.
The Tagine of lamb with almonds, a delight.
Desserts in unison obviously.
Then surprised two times a dancer has come to do a few exhibitions of classic Oriental dances relief that give a particular place, at the time.
But the appreciation of this restaurant lies in the hands of the Head waiter = Mr Meggaro draw you let me my reverence, your efficiency, your class and elegance magnified our evening!
Not only it tells you the dishes on the menu during the eating (it is dreadful because its descriptions leave you speechless), it poetizes them for you to make them available, even more fascinating and when they arrive has table they are like homemade description.
It is measured because it does not grow you consumption, it will guide you according to your appetite of the moment, but it does it with tremendously professionalism.
It has much to learn how to live, it does not discover its expertise immediately! Believe me it is large.

I have just returned from this hotel and I still dismayed! Restaurant Al Mounia is a basic Moroccan restaurant, uninteresting, with exorbitant prices. The meat of the tagine is grasse, the houmous tasteless and dry, the pastries are stale. Quality is not there.
Here are already which is not very attractive but more! Here the bread is charged €3.5 the complex (we were 4 adult, 4 children, that is to say €28 OF BREAD) and the famous mint tea, that offers beautifully - Moroccan hospitality means you will be charged €3.5 glass. I unfortunately not the only one to make this comments, many others had similar experience... In Short, you can enjoy the tower, go to the following restaurant or change street!
