CASA LABRA
Choice tapas and very reasonable prices for this historic tavern where the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party was founded.
This tasca, founded in 1860, has always been renowned for its wines and traditional cuisine, on the tavern side or behind in the restaurant. Madrilenians and tourists gather to taste specialities at the bar or on the terrace: in particular the excellent bacalao de la casa, cod croissants... For the record: in 1879, workers who did not have the opportunity to join forces, founded the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) here, clandestinely. A must-see address on Madrid's tapas route.

It is one of the only bodegua which remains 19th and the times.
Do not frightened by the queue at the entrance. The organisation of the place makes the wait is very short, the inhabitants of Madrid is had a rush to taste (snacks) specility place: croquetas of Bacalao (cod croquettes) with 0,80€ room
while enjoying una cerveza (beer)
The address is worth the detour, authentic
