Tótem has quickly established itself as one of the capital's finest boutique hotels. The 64 rooms, restaurant and bar blend contemporary touches with the original features of this superb 19th-century building. From solid oak in the bedrooms to marble in the bathrooms, the restoration and decoration of each room is remarkable. There's also a gym, an excellent cocktail bar and an excellent restaurant serving Basque specialties: La Parrilla del Pimiento Verde. A fine address.

L’hôtel de Madrid que j’ai préféré. La chambre est douillette, propre et agréable. On s’y sent vraiment à l’aise. Salle de sport petite mais parfaite pour une séance de remise en forme.
Très bien situé et personnel sympathique.
The room itself is alright. However I do not think that the price per night : to the quality of the stay.
No dedicated smoking area, breakfast is a La carte.
