This is a great classic of the Madrid nightlife: drinking, dancing, meeting everyone - sometimes even local celebrities - and of course listening to good live music. El Sol, which opened in 1979 and was the birthplace of La Movida at the time, today attracts all types of clientele: bourgeois, bobos, tourists and students wiggle their hips together in good spirits. It's actually a club that organizes concerts and shows in the first part of the evening. An ideal address to start the night.
