STADE CÍVITAS METROPOLITANO
The Cívitas, a renovated former Olympic stadium, is now home to Atlético de Madrid and offers tours on non-match days.
After leaving the mythical (but dilapidated) Vicente-Calderón stadium, Atlético took possession of this brand-new stadium in 2017. It was in fact the former Olympic Stadium (20,000 seats) that was renovated into a state-of-the-art stadium with a capacity of 68,000. The first goalscorer in its history was French star Antoine Griezmann. A visit to the stadium and its museum, greatly enriched after the 2021 championship title, is sure to delight fans!
