Cultural center with a panoramic view with exhibition halls and new plays
Founded in 1880 by architect Antonio Palacios, El Círculo is one of the country's most important cultural centers. In addition to its exhibition halls, El Círculo stages original plays on contemporary themes, as well as film cycles, concerts, lectures and workshops. After your visit, you can either enjoy a lunch break at the La Pecera restaurant, located at the foot of Calle Alcalá, or savour a coffee at Azotea, taking in the panoramic view of the whole of Madrid from the building's rooftop.
