The first anthropological museum created in Spain, in 1875, is housed in a 19th century building and shares its premises with the National Library of Spain. In addition to temporary exhibitions on a specific theme, the permanent rooms present the culture of the different peoples of America, Asia, Europe and Oceania. The room dedicated to the Philippines is particularly rich following Spain's long presence in these islands.

I was pleasantly surprised by this museum, it was not planned organised visits but the rain leads me to visit it. It has lovely collections of objects, provided the explanations are complete and interesting and you can easily spend 4:00 there.
