REAL ACADEMIA DE BELLAS ARTES DE SAN FERNANDO
Royal Academy of Fine Arts containing a collection of paintings from the 16th to the 19th century, Picasso and Dali were members
Founded in 1774 by Charles III, the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, with its 58 rooms, houses an important collection of paintings from the 16th to the 19th century, including some major works (Goya, Zurbarán, Murillo, Arcimboldo, Bellini...). And illustrious artists, such as Pablo Picasso or Salvador Dalí, have passed through the Academy's benches. Little visited, it is nevertheless a real wonder that was created at the time in the spirit of the Enlightenment. Not to be missed!
