Cultural center with a museum of contemporary art that organizes exhibitions, concerts and artistic performances
The "headquarters of the Count-duke", named in honour of King Philip IV's favourite, the Count-duke of Olivares, was built between 1720 and 1754 by Pedro de Ribera. The former headquarters now houses the Museum of Contemporary Art. Exhibitions, summer concerts and artistic performances are also organised in the cultural centre. Conde Duque also houses a video library, music rooms and a public library.
